APPLICATION PROCESS

The accreditation is launched in three Phases:

For existing Interior Designers

Phase Number: 1

Date: November 2021 to May 2022

For recently graduated Interior Designers

Phase Number: 2

Date: June 2022 to May 2023

For graduating Interior Design students

Phase Number: 3

Date: June 2023 Onwards

Singapore Interior Design Accreditation Scheme

Phase 1 | Existing Interior Designers with or without relevant academic qualifications
Nov 2021 to May 2022

Calling all veteran Interior Designers who do not have the relevant academic qualifications but have lots of working experience!

Veteran Interior Designers with the relevant academic qualifications are also welcomed to apply!

  1. ID Class 1 – Min 8 years of relevant work experience
  2. ID Class 2 – Min 4.5 years of relevant work experience
  3. ID Class 3 – Min 3 years of relevant work experience

Phase 2 | Existing Interior Designers with relevant academic qualifications & Recent Graduates
June 2022 to May 2023

Calling all existing Interior Designers with relevant academic qualifications and working experience!

  1. ID Class 1 – Min 8 years of relevant work experience
  2. ID Class 2 – Min 3.5 years of relevant work experience
  3. ID Class 3 – Min 3 years of relevant work experience

Recent graduates from relevant programmes are welcomed to register and start time-logging their work experience in 2022, to kick start their accreditation journey and take the Professional Practice Course (PPC) in 2023!

  1. ID Class 1 – Min 24months time-log of relevant work experience, concurrent with the PPC and then sit for the Exam
  2. ID Class 2 – Min 18 months time-log of relevant work experience, concurrent with the PPC
  3. ID Class 3 – Min 12 months time-log of relevant work experience, concurrent with the PPC

Phase 3 | Fresh Graduates
June 2023 Onwards

Fresh graduates from relevant programmes can register and start time-logging their work experience, as well as concurrently take the Professional Practice Course (PPC)!

  1. ID Class 1 – Min. 24months time-log of relevant work experience, concurrent with the PPC and then sit for the Exam
  2. ID Class 2 – Min. 18 months time-log of relevant work experience, concurrent with the PPC
  3. ID Class 3 – Min. 12 months time-log of relevant work experience, concurrent with the PPC

WHAT IS PHASE 1 APPLICATION AND WHO QUALIFIES UNDER THIS PHASE ?

The Phase 1 application window (Nov 2021 till May 2022)
is open to all existing practicing Interior Designers.

Applicants under Phase 1 registration will be exempted from
the following submission requirements:
